Complaints and disputes

If CLAIMD got something wrong, tell us. A person reads every complaint, you get a reference, and we reply within 2 business days. This page says how it works.

Draft 0, 25 September 2026. Not yet reviewed by our lawyer, not yet published.

How to complain

Use the form on this page, or email support@claimd.au with the word complaint in the subject. Say what happened, what you expected, and what would put it right. If it is about a claim, include the CL- reference from your claim page so we can find it without asking.

What happens next

You get a reference straight away. Within 2 business days a person replies by email: either with an answer, or to say who is looking at it and when you will hear. We aim to resolve most complaints within 10 business days. If it takes longer, we tell you why and when.

What we can do

If a document we prepared is wrong because of something we did, we fix it at no charge, and if it cannot be fixed we refund the fee. If we missed a deadline that was ours to meet, we say so in writing. If we treated you badly, you get an apology from the person responsible, not a form letter. Our refund policy says when the fee comes back.

What we record

Each complaint is logged with your name, contact details, the claim reference if you gave one, what you told us, what we did and the outcome. We keep the register for 7 years, as a business record. It is seen by CLAIMDAU's owner and the people who handle your complaint, nobody else. You can ask to see what we hold about you through the privacy policy.

If you are not satisfied

You can take a complaint about our service to NSW Fair Trading (fairtrading.nsw.gov.au, 13 32 20). A complaint about how we handled your personal information can go to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) once you have raised it with us and given us 30 days. Nothing on this page takes away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

A dispute with the Respondent is different

This page is about CLAIMD. If the Respondent (the party your Payment Claim is served on) disputes your claim, does not pay, or serves a payment schedule, that is the Security of Payment process and your claim page shows what happens next and by when. We are not a law firm and cannot act for you against the Respondent.
